There are 25 different monsters in Drilling Billy, five from each of the five worlds. Each monster gives a certain number of points when defeated, and each must fall a certain number of stories to defeat. Some monsters also have special abilities.
Deep Jungle[]

- Beacon (points: 300, stories: 1)
- Spraycan (points: 350, stories: 1, escapes from holes quickly)
- Saw (points: 450, stories: 1)
- Hammer (points: 500, stories: 2)
- Helmet (points: 550, stories: 3)
Dark Cave[]
- Dynamite (points: 350, stories: 1, leaves a hole where it falls)
- Lamp (points: 400, stories: 1, drops power-ups when knocked through 5 stories)
- Pick (points: 500, stories: 2)
- Ghost (points: 600, stories: 2, can turn invisible)
- Rock (points: 700, stories: 3, immune to tennis balls)
Lagoon Island[]
- Conch (points: 400, stories: 1, can change speed)
- Seashell (points: 450, stories: 2)
- Starfish (points: 550, stories: 2, clones itself periodically)
- Chest (points: 650, stories: 3, releases items when hit with a tennis ball)
- Tire (points: 800, stories: 3)

- Torch (points: 600, stories: 2, starts a fire where it falls)
- Teabag (points: 750, stories: 3)
